With an Orchid
Jose told me he dislikes Yanni because he felt Yanni's music is too shallow, so much so he could not hear a soul there. But I feel OK. Maybe Yanni blends both classical and electronic sounds which is not his type, a little bit too young for him I think.
I like this one, powerful and amazing, typical Yanni style. But I just don't understand why this song has been named With an Orchid, is there anything related to the fragile orchid?

That’s exactly it, Yuan, you just put your own finger on it : where is the orchid in this music ?
Sure enough, this is what I mean.
I fail to see – understand, maybe ? – the “deep” meaning of Yanni’s work.
But then again, if you can show me any way to decrypt this seemingly “subtle” piece of art I am willing to try to learn better.
In other words, my mind is open.
But I need to sink my teeth in true Art in order to feed my soul…

Honestly, Yani is the top New Age Musician in this world. Lots of Chinese Musicians even admit it when I talked with them. I mean in New Age field. The arrangement of his music and the instruments players of his band are all excellent, and there is no doubt.
